As silly as it sounds, I found your animation quite animated. But not in the redundant way that it sounds...I thought your subject matter looked alive; There was animism in your images of gelatinous water, bobbing seagulls, etc. It was beautiful to look at. I also thought you did a great job of creating a sense of cohesiveness in your film. The landscape portions suggested a sense of place, and the crane paralleled the movements of the seagulls. The only thing I found problematic was the return of the crane at the end. After seeing it in the water, I found to see it on the rocks again disrupted the narrative a bit. However, because it was at the very end of the movie, I didn't find it outrageously disrupting. Overall, I think your animation is great, with awesome imagery and strong narrative.
